Neovital Health Echinacea 45 Capsules

Echinacea is an herbaceous perennial plant that belongs to the Asteraceae family. Named “Echi” after the central part of the flower, which is thorny shaped.

The active part of this plant are the aerial parts, which contain alkylamides, caffeic acid derivatives (especially cichoric and tartaric acids), polysaccharide (arabinogalactan, xyloglucans and pectics) as well as flavonoids, essential oils and hidroxycinnamic polyacetylen acid.

Properties

Traditionally, Echinacea has been used as an adjuvant treatment and prophylaxis of chronic recurrent infections of the upper respiratory tract (such as the common cold), and the urogenital tract.

Main indications

Colds.

Directions

1 or 2 capsules daily, with a glass of water.

Warnings

Its is not recommended for use in progressive systemic disorders or autoimmune diseases.

It is recommended to use it in a discontinuous way, during no more than eight consecutive weeks without a doctor’s supervision.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding: effects have not yet been described.
